San Clemente Dam Removal Project

Jeffery Jay Luhn—I have a 3-year contract to produce documentation photos of the San Clemente Dam removal project in Monterey County, CA. It’s the largest dam removal and watershed restoration project west of the Mississippi and has enthusiastic support from environmental groups. An active construction site is tough on camera gear and hanging over the edge of the dam to record the water flow is especially dangerous. I produced this panorama shot using my Samsung Note 3 cell phone camera

Deadline: June 16, 2014 The Images from a Glass Eye, International Juried Photography Show, 2014 is sponsored by the Tehama County Photo Club of Red Bluff, California. The show is scheduled for August 8 through October 17, 2014, with an opening reception and announcement of awards on August 8, 2014. “On Edge,” Deadline June 2, 2014, Keag River Gallery, Maine

ELIGIBILITY: This Call for Entry is open worldwide to both amateur and professional photographers. Keag River Gallery invites photographers working in all mediums, styles and schools of thought to participate. Experimental and mixed techniques are welcome.
